• Ajith counts over 20 years of hands on experience in Auditing, Accounting, Finance Management, General Administration, Supply Chain Management, Legal Proceedings, Sales, Marketing and Business Strategy of three diverse industry sectors namely Automobile, Pharmaceutical and FMCG in three prestigious organizations of Sri Lanka such as DIMO, HEMAS and HAYLEYS. He has commenced his career as a Management Trainee and climbed to the positions of Financial Accountant in 6 months, Business Unit Head in 3 years, General Manager in 6 and ½ years and to a Director position in 7 years. Thereafter, it was a journey of collecting experience to be a matured senior business executive.

• He would have been the first Chartered Accountant in the history of Sri Lanka who took over a practicing Sales and Marketing role in the middle of his career simply because he has a passion for this and create concepts from the chaos.

• He has graduated from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura with honors degree in Management and has earned a Master of Business Administrationdegree from the Postgraduate Institute of Management (MBA Sri J’). He is also a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (FCA) and a member of AAT, SCMA and FCAA.

• During his corporate career he was exposed to many local and International seminars, trainings, conferences and business negotiations. The business developments that he has brought to his areas of businesses in the organizations worked for are still brining benefits to those companies.

• He also served for a period of 3 years as a consultant on part time basis to the Ministry of Public Management Reforms working on a few special assignments and has conducted over 50 training sessions in the Public and Private Sectors in Corporate Planning, Human Resource Planning, Sales Management and Finance for Sales Staffand Blue Ocean Strategy areas.

• While he does all that he has been able to maintain a very calm and silent character even in front of the biggest corporate challenges and he has been hailed by his own subordinates in all the places he worked for, for his excellent guiding, persevering, patient and pressure absorbing capabilities that was demonstrated.

• With all the above exposure, he decided to take the second U turn in his career and to commence his own ventures in three diverse businesses namely FastMoving Consumer Goods distribution, Business Training &Consultancy and Industrial Sales and Marketing. As a result, he co-owns the ICEMAN APPLIANCES LANKA (PRIVATE) LIMITED and has been appointed a Director of the company. He has co-founded VIDVAAN CONSULTANTS where he has been appointed as Senior Business Advisory Partner. His FMCG distribution business is taking shape these days to reach the final established position which will take another name in the corporate name board.

• His vision in life has all throughout been to leave a legacy for the world by inspiring next generation business managers. In this line, he is aspiring to build a respectable business, build a great company and build a great brand at the end for the country and for the world.
